Susan Wise Bauer
Susan Wise Bauer is an author, historian, and entrepreneur based in Charles City, Virginia. She is the CEO and founder of Well-Trained Mind Press, Well-Trained Mind Academy, and Historic Peace Hill Farm, as well as CEO and co-founder of Rude Horse Productions. She is also the author of multiple history and education books, notably The Well-Trained Mind and the History of the World series. She was featured as an expert on the documentary The Birth of Freedom as well as the National Geographic series Mars.
Chris Bauer
Chris Bauer is a producer who has spent the last three years creating several short films, a web series, and various other content across multiple platforms. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 2014 with a degree in Theater, and spent several years in Chicago focusing on live comedy as well as digital material before moving to LA to continue to expand Rude Horse Productions. He is a graduate of Second City Chicago’s conservatory program, where he mounted an original show about pirates that he wrote, directed, and produced. He also wrote, produced, and acted in the web series “Lasalle Street,” and continues to write prose, as well as writing for both film and theater.
