INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the site of Rude Horse Productions, LLC (“Rude Horse”), a Virginia limited liability company with a business address at 18101 The Glebe Lane, Charles City, VA 23030.
This Privacy Policy explains how Rude Horse collects personally identifying information (“PII”) through this site (“the Rude Horse Site”) and how that PII is used and shared. The words “we” or “us” refer to Rude Horse.
PII COLLECTED ON OR THROUGH THE RUDE HORSE SITE
When you use our “contact us” form, we will receive your email address and whatever other PII you include in your submission. That’s it! Rude Horse does not collect any PII in any other way.
USE OF PII COLLECTED ON THE RUDE HORSE SITE
We will use your email address to respond to the request you sent when you contacted us.
We also may use your email address to send you emails about the projects that Rude Horse is working on and invitations to premieres (or, e-premieres) of our productions. If you receive any email from us and you don’t want to receive any more, you will be able to opt out by following the directions in the email.
DISCLOSURE OF PII TO THIRD PARTIES IN THE COURSE OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Service Providers. To maintain and operate the Site and provide the Services, we may work with third-party service providers (“Service Providers"). Service Providers include vendors and suppliers that provide us with technologies, services and/or content to host the Rude Horse Site and perform other operational functions. Rude Horse may share your PII with Service Providers, but their access to your PII is and will be limited to the information reasonably necessary to perform their limited functions.
DISCLOSURE FOR LEGAL REASONS
Safety. Rude Horse may disclose your PII to protect the safety, rights, or property of the public, any person, or Rude Horse; to investigate, prevent, or otherwise address suspected fraud, harassment or other violations of any law, rule or regulation; to detect, prevent or otherwise address security or technical issues; or as we believe is required by law, regulation, or legal process.
Change in control. If Rude Horse engages in a merger, acquisition, change of control, bankruptcy, reorganization, or similar transaction or proceeding, we will transfer your PII to the successor entity
RIGHTS OF CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS
The very limited nature and scope of our operations with respect to PII means that we are not required to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act. This doesn’t mean that we won’t protect your PII. It just means that we don’t have to take the operational steps that the CCPA requires and we don’t have to have a separate CCPA section in this Privacy Policy.
STORAGE OF PII AND OTHER INFORMATION
We store information that we collect on the Rude Horse Site on servers operated by Squarespace in the United States, but it is always possible that Squarespace will move is servers to another jurisdiction.
TRANSFER OF INFORMATION
We do not anticipate transferring your PII to anyone, but if we do happen to transfer your PII to another country, we will use and protect that PII as described in this Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
CHILDREN
We do not knowingly collect PII from anyone under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with PII, we will take steps to remove such information and terminate the child's account. If you are a parent and you become aware that your child has provided us with PII without your consent, please contact us at cjbauer@rudehorse.com and we will take steps to remove such information and close the child’s account.
“DO NOT TRACK” SIGNALS
The Rude Horse Site is currently not designed to respond to “Do Not Track” signal requests from browsers.
MANAGEMENT OF INFORMATION
You can change PII that you have provided to us by emailing us at cjbauer@rudehorse.com.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
If this Privacy Policy changes, the revised policy will be posted here. Please check back periodically, and especially before you provide any PII.
